Our Story
Cannon Point Motors has been part of the Upper Hutt community since 1988, when business partners Bob Holmes and Bruce Gibbs first opened our doors.
Over the years, the business built a strong reputation for honest, reliable service and genuine care for its customers. Following Bob's passing in 2013, we took the opportunity in 2014 to carry his vision forward and continue the legacy he helped create.
Since then, we've continued to invest in our team, workshop and customer experience, while staying true to the values Cannon Point Motors was founded on.
In 2023, we expanded our services with the opening of an AA Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency at 68 Montgomery Crescent, making driver and vehicle licensing services more convenient for our local community.
Today, we're proud to continue the journey Bob and Bruce started, providing honest, dependable service to generations of Upper Hutt customers.
Cannon Point Motors — proudly serving our community since 1988.
